When Baltimore City elementary school teacher, Safa Batniji came down with a cough in early February 2020, she had no idea her body would soon be battling a disease that would later ravage all corners of the world. While a year of distance learning and hybrid teaching has presented its share of hardships, the young teacher has adapted and rolled with the punches.
